Questions on Memory

I have a few questions on Memory

1) Is the stack segment lockable?? At any point of time can the stack segment pages of more than one process be in memory?

2) In our system we have locked certain processes to memory and some are unlocked. Is there any mechanism/tool to find out the total amount of locked memory?

3) What constitutes the memory reserved for the kernel? Is buffer cache part of the kernel memory? Is any particular address space reserved for this?

4) Do the Standard libraries like libc, libdld etc., use the kernel address space or they mapped into the available memory?

General discussion on memory terminology would also be welcome in this thread.

We use HP-UX 10.20 with glance and no measureware.
