Taking Backup on CD

Dear All,

We have COMBO drive installed in rx8620 with HP UX 11.23. We want to make use this for backup. How to use this drive for writing purpose.

Thanks for ur reply, That page says about DVD +RW, we have only COMBO drive, that is DVD ROM and CD +RW.

Which s/w and how do I get that for CD +RW purpose.

For writing to CDR/CDRW drives the open source tool "cdrecord" can be used. It is a command line utility. If you prefer to use a GUI, the open source tool "XCDroast" sits on top of "cdrecord". Both of these utilities are included in the TC-OpenSource bundle available at:
