      <title>TTISR process</title>

      <description>While monitoring one of our HPUX 11.00 systems, I noticed a process called TTISR which has been running for quite a while.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  We have few direct users, onlu SQL*Net connection thorugh Oracle.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  What is this process, and where can I locate more information on it's job and any other info about it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve Howard</description>

      <description>Found something on this...hope it helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What does the ttisr daemon do?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;               Configuration Info&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;               Operating System -HP-UX&lt;BR /&gt;                   Version -10.0&lt;BR /&gt;               Hardware System -S825&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;               Solution&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;               The ttisr daemon handles nfs/asyncio (asyncronous io),&lt;BR /&gt;               polls mux cards, and handles ioctl calls for pty's and tty's.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
