      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; I want to  install "lsof" on my machine ,but when I issue the command :make install , it prompts that there is no bsdinst ? where can I find this command ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=&lt;BR /&gt;        mkdir -p -m 755 /opt/lsof/4.55/bin /opt/lsof/4.55/man/man8&lt;BR /&gt;        bsdinst -c -s -m 2755 -g sys lsof /opt/lsof/4.55/bin/lsof&lt;BR /&gt;Make: Cannot load bsdinst.       <description>Any particular reason you are trying to compile your own version of lsof?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There are precompiled versions of lsof 4.55 for both 10.20 and 11.0 available here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/lsof-4.55/" target="_blank"&gt;http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/lsof-4.55/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think you might have better luck with one of these.</description>

      <description>I also get the similar error while running make install.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The reason I'm running is because I want to create lsof for HP-11 for64bit &lt;BR /&gt;One on the &lt;A href="http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/lsof-4.55/" target="_blank"&gt;http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Sysadmin/lsof-4.55/&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;is for 32 bit. OS&lt;BR /&gt;Where is this bsdinst&lt;BR /&gt;The error I get &lt;BR /&gt;Make: Cannot load bsdinst.  Stop.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
