Does hpux 11i supports dynamic resource allocation ? What kind of servers supports this feature ?

Hi,

It is supported in vpar in HPUx environment. All hardware supporting partitioning does that for you. Here is the link describing the compatible hardware and OS.

vpar's allow you to shift system resources between partitions.

Within an operating system instance, you may want to consider Process Resource Manager, which is included in the Enterprise Operating Environment or can be purchased as an additional layered product to the Foundation Operating Environment.
