      <description>Hello.&lt;BR /&gt;Is it possible to lauch a java application as Unix Service? That is register it as a listener to system events, such as system shutdown?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please, help with resources and source code on this toppic. I have come across source code for running java as NT Service, however cannot find anything for Unix.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thank you.</description>
