I am trying to dig up as much information on setting up step by step an Enterprise Data Manager solution from EMC. If any of you have this technology and have any documentation on its setup and also any pitfalls that have come from installing this product please pass them on.

Hi,

We tried the EDM solution here a couple of years ago. We had a lot of problems with it, and one day when we needed to restore some files we found out that many of our backups weren't really successful. We went back to using OmniBack and a large DLT library.

I'm sure the product has matured since we tried it, but we had problems with it.

What I am after here guys is if anyone has
successfully implemented EDM and if they
documented the installation/project plan steps
taken to set it up.
