Can anyone tell me what version of bind is supported under HP-UX 11i (Itanium)? Where can I get this version?

For Itanium would that be 11i v 1.5 (aka 11.20) or 11i v 1.6 (aka 11.22)?

It would seem that 11.22 ships with 9.2.0 by default. There may be patches by now for something later, or perhaps something on software.hp.com.

Otherwise, the latest bits from www.isc.org should compile and run just fine - the very latest 8.mumble and 9.mumble (release candidates at least) have the necessary mods to compile on 11i.

in fact the following ship with following releases

10.x bind 4.9.7
11.0 bind 4.9.7 upgradable to 8.x
11.i bind 8.2.1 , it can be upgraded by downloading software for Bind V9.2 version 2.0 released for HPUX 11.11 on
