      <description>He &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a HP-UX server 11.11, this server has the following information in the MP log:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PROCESSOR INFORMATION&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;                       HVERSION  SVERSION              Processor&lt;BR /&gt;  Processor   Speed     Model    Model/Op  CVERSION      State&lt;BR /&gt;  ---------  --------  --------  --------  --------  -------------&lt;BR /&gt;      0      800  MHz   0x0887    0x0491   3.2      Active&lt;BR /&gt;      1      800  MHz   0x0887    0x0491   3.2      Idle&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can see that the server has 2 Procesor but one of them is whit state Idle, is this normal activity ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>when the system is executing the bootstrap loader, it only is capapble of running the single processor (processor 0). &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After th eOS gets loaded, it probes the other hardware on the system, finds the second (and if available 3rd, 4th and so on) processors and utilizes them in a multiprocessor environment implemented in your OS.</description>

      <description>Hi Alan&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After server boot, this is normal. After starting application, use "top" command to see variation on processors load.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Mahesh</description>
