      <description>I wanted to throw this out there.  Is there a way to reduce a file system.  or do you have to always go in and rebuild it.  Since this is posible on the lv level (lvreduce) and so on, i was curious about this....</description>

      <description>If you have a advanced jfs (aka online jfs) then you can. &lt;BR /&gt;Otherwise, it involved a backup/lvreduce/newfs/restore sequence.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Andy</description>
