    <description>That error code implies 'Can't write' somewhere.&lt;BR /&gt;I can have tons of reason for that:&lt;BR /&gt;1. the hpux script that is called by lp can't write to the the local device, for ex /dev/lp_peoplesoft&lt;BR /&gt;2. the script uses log files, or teefiles that can't be written during the print process&lt;BR /&gt;3. the script calls another program, that also can't write it's own temporary files.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That last option has been encounterd some years ago within the first version of the hpnp software (JetDirect), only root could print, coz the logfile generated was its own property.&lt;BR /&gt;It's been, luckily, corrected.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you have any more infos to tell about which method do you use to acces your printer ?</description>

      <description>I am getting the following error code when trying to print to one of our printers.  It acts like the job finished, the print queue flushes but the job does not print.&lt;BR /&gt;Example:&lt;BR /&gt;error code 2 in request peoplesoft-6274 on printer paypeoplesoft&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any/all help greatly appreciated.&lt;BR /&gt;Andy&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
