I don't want to shoot the messenger, but the outage timing and duration strikes me as strange.

The forums are such a useful tool, that you're almost saying "you'll be unable to call tech support from 8:00 EST to 16:00 EST, while we take scheduled maintenance".

I'd like to see the infrastructure available to mininize or eliminate the outages altogether. Given that you can't meet us there, off hours (1:00 - 4:00 and/or weekends) would be nice.

Cheryl, what are those times in GMT?

I'm not sure what the time difference between GMT and EST are so I can't figure it out for my timezone (GMT+10).

I believe that EST is currently 4 hours behind GMT so the times would be 12:00 to 20:00 GMT.
