Hello everyone,
my problem is on a C3700 machine with HP-UX 11.11 that the machine is booting up to the x-window login-screen but when I fill out the login-screen and press enter nothing is working, absolutly nothing. No crash, no reboot simply no actions. I see the login screen still there.

thanks for your help

Hi Markus,

CDE problems often are linked to network issues.
Check network configuration, easy by nslookup and retry. Otherwise please give more info:

- something in /var/dt/Xerrors;
- did it work before?
- any changes in last days (patch, configuration or anything else)?

Best regards,
Fabio
