At the prompt,the sequence [esc][esc] is a very nice way to complete commands (sometimes very long). Well, does anybody knows how to perform the completion search on the entire $PATH instead of the current directory, like (LINUX) bash does?

Glad to be of help. I've been downloading stuff from that site all day today (building an A180 - little sandbox). It is a great site, also, there are MIRROR sites that you should BOOKMARK, just incase one is down.
