      <description>&lt;BR /&gt;when I do vgchange -a y vg00, the message:&lt;BR /&gt;couldn't query physical volume "/dev/dsk/c0t2d0"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is it means some disk is bad?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and I mv/etc/lvmtab /etc/lvmtab.old, and &lt;BR /&gt;do a vgscan, it returns "need vgimport &lt;BR /&gt;to complete process?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any idea?&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks!</description>

      <description>It looks like you have a corrupted LVM on your root disk. If the disk was bad you wouldn't be able to boot off it at all with the -lm&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would suggest you look into trying to boot&lt;BR /&gt;from an ignite tape or your Recovery CD.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>It looks like there is a problem with one of the disks in vg00. I would recommend booting off a maintenance CD and run fsck on all the file systems in vg00. If the fsck cannot be run successfully, you will need to replace the disk before attempting to recover the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HTH&lt;BR /&gt;Marty</description>
