    <description>Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone verify if the program I posted in the following link works on 11i or not?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xad97663ce855d511abcd0090277a778c,00.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0xad97663ce855d511abcd0090277a778c,00.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I believe mpctl behaviour on 11i has changed somewhat.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Bill</description>

      <description>Hi Bill:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The program works for me:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ uname -a&lt;BR /&gt;HP-UX hathor B.11.11 U 9000/800 696349343 unlimited-user license&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ ./setproc 0 19939&lt;BR /&gt;Attempting to set process affinity for processor 0&lt;BR /&gt;processor 0 pid = 19939&lt;BR /&gt;$ ./setproc 1 19939      &lt;BR /&gt;Attempting to set process affinity for processor 1&lt;BR /&gt;processor 1 pid = 19939&lt;BR /&gt;$ ./setproc 2 19939      &lt;BR /&gt;Attempting to set process affinity for processor 2&lt;BR /&gt;processor 2 pid = 19939&lt;BR /&gt;$ ./setproc 3 19939      &lt;BR /&gt;Attempting to set process affinity for processor 3&lt;BR /&gt;processor 3 pid = 19939&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Top reports that the process is running on the desired cpu.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers,&lt;BR /&gt; Dave&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
