Hi:

I need to start xfs on the production server. It is Important i have the font server started. should i shutdown cde for that. when will i see the change in the font? should i restart the cde or just the xmotif application? Please advice.

I am asking this question because we have all the Xmotif applications running and we cannot shutdown the CDE. Can we just relaunch the particular xmotif application?

Ben,

I believe you can start xfs on your production server with CDE running.
