Hi everyone! Is there any command that will display information about the process table. Like for example, how much is being used and how much is free? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

One straightforward way:

1) How much nproc is configured:

# kmtune | grep nproc

2) How much is currently used:

# expr `ps -fae|wc -l` - 1

3) How much is left:

Minus 2) from 1).

Hi,

If you glance installed use it. It shows many kernel based parameters being used etc.

/opt/perf/bin/glance
F5 NextKeys
F3 SysTabls
and page down

If you don't have it installed, there is a 60 day trial copy on your application CD set.
