Hi Woo,

you may just add that directory in the "/etc/inetd.conf" to the line about "bootps".

HTH,
Wodisch
Hi,
Currently I have a A-class server running HP-UX 11.0 serves as a bootp server for xyplex terminals. We have xyplex terminal hardware address stored in /etc/bootptab and the IP address for the xyplex located in the /home/tftpdir.

However, due to some local configuration, can I store all the IP address files (boot file) in another location, eg: /root/xyplex rather than in the /home/tftpdir. If yes, what are the changes that I need to do?

Thanks.
