Hi,

I have an application developed on Windows and ported to UNIX using Mainwin (a cross platform application dev tool). Sometimes I get the following message and the application hangs
"Xlib: sequence lost (0x10001 > 0x8afb) in reply type 0x0!
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x9e1)"

I have attached the tusc output. Can you please suggest a way out of this problem? Should I update my m/c with some patches?

TIA
Satya

I would always advise you to be on a current patch set on X.

I think you'll probably have to change a few lines of application code to fix this though.

There musts be something you are doing, maybe with the mouse that can not be done in X.

BTW, can you reproduce the error in Gnome, or is this just CDE.

SEP
