Pls help me out to find what is cmsd RPC service
hpux 10.20

if i disable it what will be the impact

Govind,

This is the CDE Calendar Manager service which is rarely used.

I don't think there would be any impact if you disable this unless you are using this feature.

The only impact would be that the "Appointments / To Do / Compare calenders and Menu Editors options available in Calendar Manager will not work."

Hi Govind,

cmsd is the CDE Calander Manager.

If you and your users don't use this cde function you can disable it.
