Check for the patch installed

We have 9iRAC(9.2.0.5) implmented with
(RAW Devices) on HP-UX platform.
I want to apply some patches on it but its patch requires following patches as pre-requisite patch
2719046: FA minipack M
or
2946358: FA minipack N

Now my quistion is how can i check for any minipack or superseeds patches installed on my system.

hi,

i suppose the patches u have given r from Oracle. thus, u will have to run this sql statement (i think):

select * from ad_applied_patches;

Thanks for replying.
I have checked the sql provided by you.
But patch_type doesnot show any minipack or familypack patches. and secondly if i want to check fom HP-UX how is it possible to c which Familypack or minipack patches is been installed.

hi,

if it is run using adpatch process, the sql statement will tell u whether the Oracle patches r install.

another way to check is from the log directory, e.g. /prod/appl/admin/PROD/log/ which is the /admin/PROD/log/

p.s. swlist will not be able to find these Oracle patches.
