problem while installing software

hi
i am trying to install the software "Ignite-UX-11-11_C.6.1.44_HP-UX_B.11.00_32_64" on HP rp3410 & rp3440 system for making a bootable tape for the system. but while installing the software it is showing the error to verify "swacl". what may be the problem, can anyone help me.

hi,

try re-starting the swagent daemon:

# /sbin/init.d/swagentd stop
# /sbin/init.d/swagentd start

if not, please post the exact error message.

SD-UX uses acl. Run swacl on the system and check out if your acl permissions are ok.

An excerpt from the SD-UX Admin bok:

A typical list output from the swacl command looks like the following:

ACL Permissions
- control (c) Permission to edit or change the ACL.
