Does anyone know if I can use the -r and the -e switch in the same frecover command:

frecover -r -o -v -f /dev/rmt/0m -e

or is it just better to do:

frecover -o -v -f /dev/rmt/0m -i / -e /tarfiles

No you can not use -r and -e together.

Additionally, the "just better to do" frecover line you have needs a command:

-r or -R or -x or -I or -V

before the -o
