      <description>hello all,&lt;BR /&gt;i am getting following error. m having rp4440 server.&lt;BR /&gt;Apr  7 05:00:01 mbpscw01 syslog: Pid 4379.  Program &amp;lt;&amp;gt; Failed to open Error Log&lt;BR /&gt;file &amp;lt;&amp;gt;. Err=&lt;NO such="" file="" or="" directory=""&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;where can we check logs of backups we did?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx..&lt;/NO&gt;</description>

      <description>For unix error messagesthis one sounds pretty descriptive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the mbpscw01 program is doing something that needs to be logged to syslog.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;syslog or the program log can not be appended. It could be the filesystem the log is supposed to be in is not mounted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;bdf /var&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See that its showing /var is mounted. If not, you have a serious problem and need to take the following steps:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) Clear anything written to the /var folder This may not be possible without single user mode. Anything written there will take up space and be hidden when /var is mounted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) Make sure /var can mount. See about mount /var and check and act on the error codes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
