Want to know the patch number for linker startup code / SLLIC ELF Support on HP-UX 11.11

Hi all,

I'm working on porting Linux Application to
HP-UX. While compiling application we came across Loader error...

So we need the patch Number for

1. Linker startup code / SLLIC ELF support.
2. ld(l) and linker tools cumulative Patch.

On HP-UX 11.11. ???

It is PHSS_21701 and PHSS_21947 on HP-UX 11.0.

find the correct patch numbers for the hp-ux 11.11

1) PHSS_28435
2) PHSS_30968

If you search the ITRC patch database, you will find PHSS_28435 and PHSS_30970 are what you are looking for

To determine the patches you have installed:
swlist -l file | grep usr/lib.*/dld.sl

(dld.sl == linker startup code, as you call it)

Same works for ld too, of course.

Are you sure that your problem is patch? If yes, above answers will help you. I would recommend you to check the application compatibility as well. Please check the pre requisites for applications, it may bring up new threads to you.
