Java 1.5 on HP-UX

Hi everyone,

We are trying to run Oracle's GRID on an HPUX system (11.11). We are getting the following Java error and I was wondering if this would be familiar to anyone as I know virtually nothing about Java errors and debugging.

Check the patch level of your machine.
See http://www.hp.com/products1/unix/java/patches/index.html
for details.
You may miss some pthread patches.

Is java 1.5 even certified with Oracle yet. They usually take their time with that.

Just a thought. Never run oracle with server infrastructure that is not on the oracle support matrix. location: metalink.oracle.com
