    <description>it means that something tried to reformat /dev/vgbroot/rlvol1 on 4th of Feb.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;from that on, I can only guess.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;please read trough Your syslog file and see if there were any more errors, next check root's crontab. going by the name 'vgbroot' it could be a backup of the root volume group vg00 without the means of mirrordisk-ux.&lt;BR /&gt;that means maybe someone created a script that does automatich backups of the box and that script failed.&lt;BR /&gt;yepp, do a crontab -l and see if anything there sounds like a backup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also, please tell me what You mean by: &lt;BR /&gt;"PS, the above error was the only thing to come across the monitor."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You only get the message and can't log in? Or You only get the message when logged in at the console?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it's the first, something is broken and You might also consider some bad will to that newfs command.</description>

      <description>Need help fast, can anybody tell me what's going on with my hp server I received the following below:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;                     Feb  4 20:30:48 crsmdp1d syslog: update_broot: Error: command "newfs -F hfs /dev/vgbroot/rlvol1" failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;PS, the above error was the only thing to come across the monitor. Server is up I just don't know what this means...&lt;BR /&gt;Thx</description>
