    <description>You mean the script ran and reported no errors right ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If that's the case I'd fill in the blanks to the questions already asked so we get a better explanation of the problem and s/w involved.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd include whether DNS is involved and if possible attach the output of dr_dt to this post it would help .....</description>

      <description>fyi : CDE Run Time Env is bundled on the core O/S not the applications CD's.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As to why this is occuring : I'm not too clear on the actual problem description &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but it sounds as if you are connecting to an hpux server - O/S ? from pc's or xterminals - s/w involved ? Intermittently you are unable to gain access to the hpux host and login thru CDE - correct ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd suspect networking here but you may want to look at /usr/contrib/bin/X11/dr_dt output just in case.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Next time this occurs make use of nslookup and ping and whether other applications fail : say a telnet session to the hpux host ?</description>

      <description>dr_dt : it is a script so please run it and examine the output : it's self explanatory in that it lists warning and errors and suggests the way to fix them.</description>
