    <description>There is no relation betwwen .rhosts and host.equiv wiith Trusted mode system . just check $HOME.rhost file of that usr .&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>After I change my system to trusted system, then user can 'rlogin' to this host even without set the .rhosts file , is it the problem of trusted system? Thanks.</description>

      <description>Another question is :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I edit the .rhosts but it is not work to use host IP address.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;eg. &lt;BR /&gt;host_IP_Address   edpuser   &amp;lt; ----- not work&lt;BR /&gt;Hostname          edpuser   &amp;lt; ----- work &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>correct&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you must use the HOSTNAME&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;both system must know each other by name!</description>
