    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I had used pwconv command on the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It has produced following traces.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Directories created.&lt;BR /&gt;Making default files. &lt;BR /&gt;System default file created...&lt;BR /&gt;Terminal default file created...&lt;BR /&gt;Device assignment file created...&lt;BR /&gt;Moving passwords...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;secure password database installed.&lt;BR /&gt;Converting at and crontab jobs...&lt;BR /&gt;At and crontab files converted.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After that root account was disabled.&lt;BR /&gt;We resolved this problem by booting the system in to single user mode and we used tsconvert -r , to recover the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anybody know about the command pwconv .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should execute tsconvert with the -c option to convert to your system to trusted ie.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# /usr/lbin/tsconvert -c &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;pwconv should not be used directly, since HP-UX provides the tsconvert facility unlike most other Unixes.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The safest way of converting your system to trusted is to do it in SAM.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps.       <description>You could also use this command to preserve the root users password after you convert.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/usr/lbin/modprpw -V root&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HH,&lt;BR /&gt;C</description>
