ALLBASE heap memory

Dear collegue,
When I preprocess a large cobol program in ALLBASE/SQL, I get the message 'Insufficient heap area to allocate variable'. According to the message manual I have to allocate more heap space (it doesn't tell me how).
Is this an ALLBASE/SQL or HP-UX issue?
How can I allocate more heap space?

The kernel parameter to change to add more heap space is "MAXDSIZE".
