Hi, I compiled successfully GD/Apache/PHP on HPUX10.20, but when I try to use gd/php to generate graphs no images are created. When I checked the apaches' error_log file I found the following:
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: png_create_write_struct (code) from /opt/gd//lib/libgd.sl

and when I start apache, I got the following message:
# apachectl start
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: jpeg_resync_to_restart (code) from /opt/gd//lib/libgd.sl
./apachectl start: httpd started

I use precompiled gd 1.8.4
and I compiled apache 1.3.20 and php 4.0.6 from the source code.

So, any clue?

I used the binaries from the HP porting center. Just installed them with swinstall. They worked for me. http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/

Leandro,

You might want to locally compile gd 1.8.4 and then try recompiling the other two.
