Hi, I have a k570 running 10.20. Is there any reason why I can not install/upgrade to 11i V1 on that system? THX Otto

Yes, whether required or not doing the firmware is and excellent idea.

We are running 11i V1 on a k570 now without any problems. Went from 10.20 without any firmware ugrade only because the box was no longer supported. I would recommend looking into firmware upgrade.
