Hullo All...
Anybody knows how can a user cancel request in a JD printer? I can see no options in HPPI for that...

If you are not the owner (or root), this will fail.

To cancel another users as a non root user, install sudo and use it to allow the non root user to run cancel.

As stated cancel job or if you are root you can cancel all jobs in a queue with

cancel -e

One other item of note: When you set up the printer you have the option of allowing anyone to cancel a request or only the owner/root.

In lpadmin, the option is -orc which restricts users to canceling only their own requests. The default is to not restrict the cancel command.

If using SAM, there is a checkmark option for this as well. YOu may want to remove the printer and re-add to allow this.
