    <description>There's not enough information about your computer and the (potentially) thousands of other things it is doing or the disks and what other things are going on. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;CDrecord does not take advantage of the new technology to prevent buffer underflows so you need a fast computer, zero activity and no retries on the disks. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The simplest solution is to record at the slowest speed.</description>

      <description>The cd writer I have is 'YAMAHA'. I can use it to write files in any other directories not usr4 by speed 24X.
