I have a couple of users that lose their home session for CDE every time they log in. Does anyone know what the file is called and where it's stored when a user saves his/her home session? Maybe we have a permissions issue but I need to know where this file is before I can diagnose the problem.

We are running HP-UX 11.0 on B class workstations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David Owens
Ingersoll-Rand
David,
Your users are not exiting their session properly. All the files you want are in their .dt directory in their home directory. Files like session and the such.

Do a little test and ask them to exit and get back in for you while you are watching.

I would say there is a 99% chance that is the problem.

Good Luck,
C
