      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a L3000/HP-UX 11.11.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When I login as any user it gives a message:&lt;BR /&gt;Last login:  1 Oct 16:11&lt;BR /&gt;Applications using getspwuid must be linked with libsec.&lt;BR /&gt;Application being terminated.&lt;BR /&gt;# /etc/profile.d/1234.pwage exited abnormally&lt;BR /&gt;#       with value 1&lt;BR /&gt;#########################################################&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What could be the cause of the message? What needs to be checked?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Raje.</description>

      <description>Ive got a newly build 11i server and there is no directory called /etc/profile.d (even if I convert to trusted). It looks to me youre using some third party security application and this is where your problem is. You firstly need to identify what its called. Try;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l file | grep "/etc/profile.d"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This should id the fileset which has this dir and then you can find the product/bundle. Then we can find out which company is responsible for it and look there.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Rajes,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are u using sudo?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;swlist -l product | grep -i sudo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If yes, make sure the "sudo" file permission is 4111&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;chmod 4111 sudo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this helps</description>

      <description>From the list of software installed there is a 3rd party application causing your problems.  &lt;BR /&gt;Most notibly the COE stuff, and just below it directly referrences the /etc/profile.d/1234.pwage.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could remove this software, but some vendors make no safe backout so be prepared for a full reload.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Shannon</description>
