Predictive- Callin Modem

Good morning:

I am trying to set up the Predictive modem on my R390 to allow for callin. I've gone into Predictive, and changed the configuaration, but it won't retain the settings. Any suggestions?

Other information:
kermit will connect to ttyd1p0, but I get an unspecified ERROR when I try to look at the configuration (at15).
There is a entry in my /etc/inittab to respawn the getty, and the getty is available.
I've deleted and recreated the device files for the modem.
I can dial out.

Patti,

Try configuring the modem with
sam
peripheral devices
terminals and modems

It gives you a lot more options.

The modem was reconfigured in sam, to no avail...

What is the problem with the modem?

I guess that the R modem is the same as the D in which case the internal modem is some sort of Multitech in which case you need to do ATL5, ATL6 and ATL7 to see the settings.
