    <description>Stefan,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That version is for 32 bit only. I think that the answer is that you will have to either compile it yourself or wait until it gets ported to 64bit.</description>

      <description>Well the porting centre says that it will only run on 32 bit HP-UX. Quote:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note that the binary releases of lsof on this archive will ONLY run on OS release they were compiled on and will run on 32-bit HP-UX only. If you have any other release of HP-UX, you must build lsof yourself from the source code.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Because the hp-ux kernel will be compiled 64bit and the lsof reads kernel memory directly, it does need to know if the kernel is 32/64 bit or not. However, should none of the structures used have elements of a different size to the 32 bit ones, then it will work fine.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is safer to compile it on 64bit however.</description>
