    <description>When you printed from HP-UX did you use the command "lp -depson -s &lt;FILENAME&gt;" or did you include a -o nobanner option.  &lt;BR /&gt;Their should be no difference in output printing from the UNIX command line to printing from an application, so it may be the MFG application which is including the banner.&lt;/FILENAME&gt;</description>

      <title>printer problem on D - Class</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We just installed a local printer directly from the parallel port on our D-class server. We are currently running MFG-Pro on a progress database.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If I give a print directly from unix I get a proper txt output. But if I give the print out of MFG-Pro I first get the a banner output of the User name and finger details, and then the output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The printer is configured in the spooler as "epson" using the dumb script. and within MFG-Pro the output command is lp-d epson -s.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I just need to know how I can supress the Banner and finger output before the actual data is printed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thankx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Trent&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
