sendmail ?? configuration

I host a web site running Redhat 7.1 on an HP Kayak PC and act as their mail server. But I have one problem, sending mail.

I have configured my mail services so that the client, I'll call them farside, can remotely pick up their mail no problem.

The problem is if they want to send mail. Their email connection is refused at my end.

Can I set the farside up to send mail through my Redhat box as I am the mail server?

What happens if I get some additional remote clients that need mail also and they will probably be dynamic addresses?

Do I need to setup some sort of trust with that remote client?

I dont know much about red hat. But are you using sendmail? If so what version? And is this box on the public network with dns?

Ignore the last comment. Of course you are on a public network if you are using this to pick up mail. And if it is a webserver.

Sounds like you want to set up your sendmail box to act as a relay for other domains, no problem. just add their domain to your /etc/mail/relay-domains file, and restart sendmail..your relay-domains file could be in a slightly different dir, or even called something different..
check sendmail.cf for FR, or hosts that will permit relay to get the file name
