Problem adding a network printer to the lp spooler

While using the Jet admin to add a network printer to the lp spooler, HP-UX (10.20 and 11) starts to print this line multiple times:
vxfs: mesg 001: vx_nospace - /dev/vg00/lvol5 file system full (1 block extent)

/dev/vg00/lvol5 is my /opt

looking at bdf - the /opt is 100% full.

when I go to the directory /opt/hpnp/tmp I see a very large file named hpnpname

deleting it makes /opt free space return to its original size.

can wnyone help me with that one? thanks.

Hi,

I would advise to use the new hp printer installer software instead of jetadmin.
Jetadmin is obsoleted.

What's the printer model & if it's using external/internal JD? If external JD - what's the product# ?
