    <description>No, you can't.  Ignite does NOT support creating a tape on a remote tape drive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What you can do is use make_net_recovery to create an archive of the rp2405 via the network to the rp7405.  There is a procedure you can then go through to create a tape from the network archive.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The steps required are outlined in /opt/ignite/share/doc/makenetrec.txt in the "Create a Bootable Archive Tape" section.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The makenetrec.txt will also tell you how to use make_net_recovery to create an archive of a system via the network.</description>

      <description>Hi Jose,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think you are asking if you can make a ignite recovery tape for a server using the tape drive on a different server, then the answer is that you probably cannot.
