Please confirm the functionalities of the following patches.

B3187B DCE-CDS-Server B.11.11.10 DCE-CDS-Server

Are these patches optional or required DCE patches.

Hi,

These are not patches but softwares providing DCE security services and Cell Directory Services. Both are optional and you will have to buy them. They are available on your Application CDs but until you get your codewords, you will not be able to see them.

these are used in distributed computing environment. you can find more info in HP site, or if you buy the product, HP send you the manuals, which explains everything about DCE
