I have a problem with the virtual memory and I want to increase it - if possible.

Can anyone help me to Increase the virtual memory ??
I am using HP-UX 11.00

Hi,
Increasing virtual memory means adding swap...
You may have to change the maxswapchunks parameter of the kernel and generate a new kernel...
Once that is OK, use sam to create a new logical volume for swap usage

You can also check if pseudo-swap is enabled.
Check swapmem_on tunable OS parameter. If the value is 1 then pseudo swap is enabled.
