EMS Configuration

Good day,
How do you configure the EMS? (setting alarm thresholds and output) Or much better, what are the commands or tools in configuring the EMS?

Hi,

You can do so using
/etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
This will bring up the Monitoring Request Manager Main Menu and you can selet option from there.

/var/stm/config/tools/monitor normally holds the config files for EMS monitors.

To manually start ems
/sbin/init.d/ems start

For the newly intitated, sam has a good menu driven configuration for EMS as well.

It might be a better place to start.
