Clarification on files before deletion

Hi experts..

Need clarification whether I can delete these files (rscsiDAAaNN - NN indicate sequence of numbers) from /var/tmp and what is the function of these character device files. Thanking all experts in advance for any advise or answers.

Hi,

files are created by diagnostic tools.
In my opinion you can delete them.

Hi

like Slawomir Gora told , this files are created by the stm in your system .

you can delete files in /var/tmp any time that you need to free some space in /var .
( the files that are open will be not be deleted )
