      <description>Hi Guru,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a utility called rtelnet kept in &lt;BR /&gt;usr/annex/ dir.&lt;BR /&gt; -xr-xr-x   1 root       sys          81920 Jul  1  1998 rtelnet&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you can see the owner group and permission. Our one of the application is using this utility to start the application process.&lt;BR /&gt;My questiion is , can this utility be started by application owner , or only root can start this utility.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mohan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Mohan,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If I remember correctly, 'rtelnet' is used to connect to Annex terminal servers. It's not available by default with the HP-UX OS. Since the permissions are set to 555, it can be executed by other users.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Sri</description>
