You've checked /var but how about /opt?

Ignite install files in /opt, so make sure you've got plenty of space there.

Mark

Reading your error message, can you check your "/" (and not /var) client partition with bdf. It seems that it is almost full ...

Olivier.

PS : it seems that you have not assign any points to you questions ! Don't forget to do it : it is important for us to know if our response help you (or not !!), and you will have more chance to receive responses !

This is worth 0 points. But when we spoke you asked me about the points structure. Here is the guide.

N/A: The reply was a clarification to my original question
1-3: The answer didn't help answer my question, but thanks anyhow!
4-7: The answer helped with a portion of my question, but I still need help.
8-10: The answer has solved my problem completely! I'm a happy camper!

Regards
Gerhard
Hi Mogamat

Slept a bit on your problem here. I just had a thought. Instead of extending the "/" filesystem. Why do you not create a sepearate smaller lvol and mount it in the required position for the files that need to go to there.

This being an emergency cure you should test the ignite tapes / archives afterwards to see if they create "recoverable" images.

In the long run the root filesystem should be enhanced though.

Regards
Gerhard
